Mr. Schoeppner founded Quaker Capital Management in 1985. He has over 25 years of experience in the investment industry and has managed Quaker's long/short hedge funds since their inception in 1996. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Economics majoring in finance. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Pittsburgh. He served on the board of directors of the Children's Museum of Pittsburgh for 15 years and is currently a tutor at the Pittsburgh Project. Mark and his wife Cindy reside in Upper St. Clair with their four children. He enjoys skiing and coaching baseball.
